Privacy Policy Statement.

For each visitor to our web page, our server automatically recognizes only the user's domain name, but not the e-mail address.  We collect the e-mail addresses of those who register to post messages to our bulletin board (The Forum) only to prevent abuse by users, and we use cookies to control user access to our bulletin board.  We do not sell, share, or give any user information we happen to possess to any third party whatsoever.

We are not partnered with any ad company, there are no ads of any kind served on the Rogue Science website.  The one unfortunate exception are ads displayed on the search results page using the Google Custom Search engine.  The terms we are required to submit to in order to use the search engine for free mandate ads be placed on the results page.

Emails are automatically sent to registered members of The Forum in the course of using the site.  An initial email will be sent to new registrations to confirm the email address is valid, and subsequent emails will be automatically sent if you subscribe to certain threads.  It is extremely rare that the administrator of The Forum will send an email to users, and this would only be due to times of emergency or crisis to alert the community.

If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to this page to notify you of these changes. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our web site periodically.  Given that this has been our privacy philosophy since 1999, don't expect anything to change drastically.
